SAIC is hiring an Air Dominance Weapons Requirements Manager to lead the planning and integration of the Air-to-Air Weapons Portfolio within the Air Combat Command's Advanced Programs Weapons Division (A5/8ZW). Join our team of experts working with high-level stakeholders to develop systems that ensure national security.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tactical expertise for the Air Dominance weapons portfolio including JATM, HACM, AMRAAM, SiAW, and future classified projects.
- Offer operational, technical, and analytical support to document JCIDS and MAJCOM Weapon Systems Requirements.
- Interface regularly with Joint Staff, Air Staff, MAJCOMs, NAFs, OSD, AF TENCAP, FFRDCs, and other government organizations.
- Advise on mission needs, requirements analysis, and program roadmap creation, including technology insertion and platform integration.
- Support security integration of weapon systems for warfighter needs.
- Coordinate with acquisition, budget, test, and technology teams to ensure successful planning and execution.
- Represent ACC/A589 at functions, conferences, and critical meetings as a SME in Air-to-Air missiles.
- TS/SCI required to start;
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly required to maintain employment.
- Rated pilot or Weapons System Officer in a Combat Air Force (CAF) platform.
- Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience in Air Dominance programs, or a Master's degree with 12+ years of related experience.
- Strong military operations background.
- Familiar with DoD staff work, PPBE process, JCIDS process, and DoD systems acquisition.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- 4+ years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience.
