Program Manager Goodwill Academy of Virginia (Education)This position is responsible for working with the Director, Goodwill Academy of Virginia to implement and execute the overall learning and development strategy for Goodwill Academy of Virginia.
Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education, Experience, Certificates, Security Clearance- Bachelor’s degree in business, leadership, organization development, organizational leadership, workforce development, or a related field, preferred. Master’s degree highly preferred.
- 3 Years’ experience in a related field required.
- No professional certifications are required for this position.
- Valid state driver’s license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
- Required to pass state and federal criminal background and sex offender checks. Depending upon contract specifications, may also be required to pass CPS and LEIE background checks and other background checks as necessary.
- Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Associates are required to follow Goodwill's safety rules and regulations, as outlined in Goodwill's policies. Managers have the added responsibility to ensure the compliance of their team members.
Information Privacy and SecurityThis associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
Physical Demands / Work Environment / Work ConditionsGeneral Office Position – the associate is required to lift up to 10 pounds maximum. The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.). The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area.
