We are actively recruiting for a seasoned leader responsible for execution of a multi-year program to ensure successful mission operations of the Cyber Assurance and Mission Partner Environment Divisions. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Task Lead responsibilities include support to ensure mission operations and incorporate innovative solutions to improve cybersecurity, portfolio-wide, by moving the entire enterprise portfolio to a continuously monitored state, standardizing, and reducing workload in the field and increasing risk management across the portfolio.

The Task Lead will collaborate with the team leads to build effective teams through goal and objective setting/monitoring, clear communications, mentoring and any conflict resolution, all by living and setting a positive example of the company values.
Duties

  • Oversee execution of all tasks in the performance work statement, to include Risk Management Framework cybersecurity assessments and IT Compliance and Governance.
    • Support and provide guidance to the team leads to effectively partner with the senior government customers for a mutually agreeable outcome.
    • Anticipate and track operational risks, remove barriers, and provide strategic solutions.
    • Assess situations and provide clarity to teams and stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with the CORs, Branch Chiefs and Division Chiefs in the execution of the contract.
  • Build trusted customer relationships that support effective collaboration between the customer, the contracting Officer, and the contractor.
  • Lead, motivate, inspire, and support teams in a demanding environment.
    • Ensures appropriate training and development opportunities for team members, as applicable.
    • Provide individualized coaching and mentoring, when needed.
    • Ensure team cohesiveness in an environment that fosters creativity.
    • Collaborates with Human Resources to issue disciplinary action notices, as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with established company and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Manages the development of team goals, objectives, and individual development plans.
    • Works with team leads to establish annual, quarterly, and monthly goals for team members.
    • Monitors goals and objectives of teams and coaches team leads in addressing areas of opportunities.
  • Supervises the contract's continuous improvement program.
  • Supervises closely with the customer in developing plans and policies to achieve their end states.
  • Manages the preparation and delivery of monthly status reports and quarterly program management reviews. Assist the PM with the development and submission of other contract deliverable documents.
  • Contributing member of corporate strategic initiatives group, ideally with extensive theater-level operational experience in cybersecurity operations or defensive cyberspace operations-internal defensive measures (DCO-IDM).
  • Supports the Program Manager in managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of the contract.
  • Supervises the analysis of draft policy and policy changes to ensure quality and relevant recommendations, impacts, and risk to customer.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and sub-contract site lead on the recruitment and hiring of all team members.
  • Manages Human Resources program tasks such as employee recognition, educational assistance, and employee benefits questions, as needed.
  • Manages designated innovative initiative projects as directed.
  • Performs all other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, information technology, Cybersecurity, business, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in flag officer headquarters within the is required; graduate of a Command and General Staff College is desired.
  • 8 years of intensive and progressive experience in managing federal engineering or IT projects, which include managing personnel involved in complex projects, with total responsibility for the success of the organizational unit is required.
