Input Technology Solutions is seeking a Digital Engineer for a great opportunity in Hampton, Virginia!
Job Overview:
As a Digital Systems Engineer, you’ll use model-based methods to design and maintain system workflows, interfaces, and architecture diagrams that address complex client challenges. Working with stakeholders, you’ll help define and communicate solutions, translate requirements into actionable models, and support the development of digital engineering environments for government clients.
Using architecture modeling tools, advanced data structures, and MBSE frameworks, you’ll help modernize processes and workflows supporting highly classified missions.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years applying systems engineering or modeling methods (BPMN, UML, DoDAF, or MBSE/SysML)
3+ years creating architectural or process models showing workflows, system interactions, or requirements
Experience with modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Ability to design and explain data flows across hybrid database environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building digital twins and integrating models with live data for simulation or monitoring
Familiarity with geospatial systems, GIS concepts, or formats such as GeoJSON
Python experience for ETL, automation, or analysis
Experience with modern development practices (Git, pull requests, structured reviews)
Knowledge of cloud architecture (e.g., AWS)
Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related field
OCSMP Model User or INCOSE ASEP certification
Clearance
TS/SCI clearance required.
