This entry-level position focuses on applying basic engineering principles to develop code, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community customers. What You Will Do
* Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
* Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
* Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
* Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. What You Must Have
* 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
* Candidate must have three years in scientific programming and information systems management.
* Candidate must have experience with Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
* Candidates must be proficient in Visual Basic, Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server, and web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, SGML/XML, and PDF integration.
* Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
* Candidate must be based in or willing to commute to Philadelphia, PA. Bonus Points For Having!
* Expertise in JavaScript and HTML for front-end development.
* Experience in working with Oracle as a backend database.
