We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded. For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Principal Technical Writer.

Provides strategic consulting to executives; shapes documentation policies; influences industry best practices through thought leadership. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Call Order Response Manager.

Position Overview The Call Order Response Manager plays a critical role in ensuring quality responses are created for customer requests on a large government contract. The ideal candidate has the ability to understand enterprise systems from the end users point of view in order to ensure compelling and complete call order responses that match the mission. With experience in supporting contract operations by ensuring compliance, managing schedules, and driving effective communication across delivery teams, this position requires expertise in proposal writing and schedule management, along with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Key Responsibilities
* Create and manage call order response schedules with multiple teammates to ensure compelling and compliant responses that are on time.

* Manage multiple call order responses in flight at the same time.

* Edit call order responses to ensure they are technically sound and free of errors.

* Develop and maintain best practices and templates focused on client call order responses.

* Engage clients early and often to elicit requirements and ensure rapid response once requests are formally made.

* Assist with strategic Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives to ensure that clients understand an enterprise ecosystem and the benefits of using such a system.

* Collaborate with CO Delivery Teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to requirements.

* Support proposal development and compliance activities.

* Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

* Recommend major changes impacting short-term project growth and success.

Required Qualifications

* Education:

BA/BS degree in a related field.

* Experience:

10+ years of experience in technical writing, proposal development, and project management.

* Proposal response experience is required.

* Proven ability to create and manage the proposal process with multiple teammates.

* Proven ability to manage multiple proposals in-flight at the same time.

* Strong understanding of organizational change management (OCM) practices to assist in client engagement.

* Strong understanding of compliance, schedule management, and IT project coordination.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

* Clearance:
Active Top Secret Clearance is mandatory. Preferred Skills
* Experience with BPA processes and Playbook development.

* Familiarity with DoD acquisition and compliance requirements.
