Position: Corporate Enterprise Network (WAN) Network Engineer Senior with Security Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop requirements, specifications, and solutions for corporate enterprise networks from inception to completion under general supervision.
* Design, implement, and maintain a corporate, campus-wide Cisco LAN plant with Gigabit switching and routing to internal servers and external networks.
* Coordinate with Vendor Project Managers, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate technical solutions and user satisfaction.
* Provide expert technical support for network operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
* Integrate network hardware and software solutions to support organizational and mission objectives.
* Assist in planning and implementing network security, redundancy, and high availability solutions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience
* Minimum of five (5) years of progressive IT experience, including at least two projects in technical areas aligned with the task requirements.
* At least one project within the past three (3) years demonstrating relevant expertise.
* Expert experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN equipment, software, and associated network hardware. Desired Experience and Skills
* Minimum three (3) years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
* Strong understanding of network architecture, security, and routing protocols. Certifications
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification:
* COMPTIA Security+ CE
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
* COMPTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
* Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Global Industriel Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) Clearance
