Role Overview

Are you seeking an opportunity to advance your EHS career and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a facility?

Our manufacturing client in Hampton, VA, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Professional to join their local EHS team. The position requires being on-site in Hampton, VA. Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of 50+ EHS positions being recruited for nationwide.

This role is essential for candidates looking to deliver results in an environment backed by strong leadership commitment and core EHS values. As a key member of the site team, you will support our rapid growth by driving environmental stewardship and regulatory excellence.

• Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
• Ability to commute or relocate to Hampton, VA on a daily basis.
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of EHS experience.

Strategic Leadership & Culture

Cultivate and maintain an organizational culture aligned with client EHS goals, prioritizing continuous improvement and proactive risk management.

Direct, coach, and motivate plant personnel to achieve EHS objectives through high‑engagement leadership and safety‑first mentoring.

Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to execute complex environmental improvement initiatives.

Manage all environmental disciplines, including Air, Wastewater, Storm Water, Chemical management, and Waste Disposal/Recycling.

Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness in the filing of federal, state, and company records to demonstrate regulatory and sustainability compliance.

Analyze industrial processes to identify opportunities for waste elimination and water usage reduction, directly contributing to business‑unit sustainability goals.
