Riverside Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join a growing, well-established rheumatology program serving the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. This position is predominantly outpatient-focused
, with limited inpatient consultative responsibilities, and offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong system support.
Hampton, Virginia (Primary) | Williamsburg, Virginia (Potential Secondary Site)

• Predominantly outpatient rheumatology practice
• Limited inpatient consultative coverage
• Practice located in Hampton, VA with potential clinical presence in Williamsburg, VA
• In-suite infusion center supporting comprehensive biologic and infusion therapy management
• Integrated care model with access to orthopedics, primary care, imaging, physical therapy, and infusion services

• Clinically excellent and committed to high-quality, evidence-based care
• Collegial, collaborative, and team-oriented
• Interested in teaching and mentoring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Enjoys participation in the education of residents and learners
• Comfortable contributing to the growth and development of a maturing rheumatology service line

• Established referral base with strong primary care and specialty alignment
• APP support structure
• On-site infusion services to streamline patient care and enhance continuity
• Emphasis on access, patient experience, and multidisciplinary collaboration

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Eligible for Virginia medical licensure
