Our client is a leading provider of commercial construction services, specializing in government contracting. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced permanent Superintendent to join the team in the construction industry, with a strong background in construction management, team leadership, and experience with NAVFAC and/or Army Corps.

Role:
Permanent Superintendent

Responsibilities focus on overseeing field activities, ensuring the safe, timely, and quality performance of all subcontractors, preparing and distributing project documents, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

• Oversee all field activities, ensuring the proper performance of all subcontractors in the safety, quality, and timeliness of their work.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, meeting the requirements of EM 385-1-1, with experience in hazard identification and safety compliance (OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR).
• Prepare and distribute all necessary project documents including daily reports, 3-week look-ahead schedule, incident reports, safety inspection reports, permits, and investigation reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on leadership roles.
• Proven experience working with NAVFAC and/or Army Corps.
• Must meet EM 385-1-1 requirements and have experience in hazard identification and safety compliance (OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and ability to obtain access to military installations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
