OverviewThe Product Manager will be passionate about leading seamless, intuitive, and conversion focused digital experiences for a Planet Fitness prospective member. This role will support the ongoing optimization of our digital acquisition journeys and involves leading high performing cross-functional development teams. The Product Manager will help drive initiatives that focus on achieving aggressive growth goals by improving member acquisition and retention through data informed, stakeholder focused product initiatives.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Hampton, NH office.
Responsibilities- Manage the strategy and development of the Prospect Website Enablement workstream product within the product roadmap.
- Manage the product development process from end to end: opportunity identification, feature prioritization, requirements gathering, design, development and launch of new features.
- For each project, perform upfront discovery and research, provide clear product requirements, participate in ongoing project routines (standups, sprint planning, refinements, retros with the working development team), sign-offs, lead business reviews to confirm launch readiness.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, their journeys, and their pain points. Manage research and testing, e.g. surveys, concept testing, clickstream data, and A/B testing. Transform insights into opportunity hypotheses and product requirements.
- Be a champion of the MVP philosophy, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to surface feedback and opportunities for new projects and features and prioritize these requests in accordance with level of effort and business value. Evaluate opportunities and develop business cases.
- Collaborate with Strategy and analytics teams to decide on KPIs for new features. Forecast, measure, and monitor business metrics and KPIs. Track impact on acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and nearly all parts of the company to ensure our digital products are launched successfully.
- Create efficiencies and speed to market in the product development process, working closely with other product managers, tech leads, UX designers, and other key members of their POD teams.
