Automotive Alignment Technicians

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales center in the Hampton, GA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Position: Automotive Alignment Technician

• Use the latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old; legally authorized to work in the United States; and possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Preferred: state inspection license.
• Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repetitive movements related to vehicle and tire maintenance; must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
