Team Jobs is excited to be recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas & Plumbing Engineers for a well-established and rapidly growing Facilities Management provider working across Hampshire.

£50,000 basic salary

1-in-4 call-out rota (£175/week on-call allowance + paid door-to-door call-outs)

Excellent overtime rates:

1.5x after 6pm Mon-Fri

1.5x Saturday mornings

The Role

You will be carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance across commercial and domestic sites - with a strong focus on schools, public buildings and commercial premises.

Daily tasks will include:

Reactive plumbing & gas repairs, fault finding and diagnostics

PPM servicing, safety checks & compliance documentation

Installing pipework, water heaters, TMVs and general plumbing systems

Commissioning/testing hot water & heating systems

Supporting refurbishment projects (toilet blocks, catering areas, etc.)

Maintaining accurate digital records via mobile/tablet

Working collaboratively with electrical and mechanical teams

Most work is local across Hampshire, with occasional early starts depending on site requirements.

What We are Looking For

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or Mechanical discipline

Commercial & Domestic Gas qualifications - CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1

G3 Unvented Hot Water

At least 2 years' experience in a similar role

Strong communication skills & confidence dealing with clients

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence

Experience in schools or catering environments (advantageous)

Additional skills beneficial:
Electrical awareness, Air Source/AC knowledge, IPAF, PASMA, OFTEC, oil-fired systems
