Fire and Security installation, small works, and commissioning experience required - However management experience is not!
Location: Southampton (Office Based, 3 Days per Week, 2 days WFH)
Competitive salary + Car Allowance based on 40 hours per week

We re recruiting for a brand new Small Works Manager role within a long standing large Fire & Security business based near Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Fire & Security professional who s ready to step into a more senior, office based role no previous management experience required.

If you have solid experience in small works, installs, and commissioning, this role allows you to use your technical knowledge while learning the management side of the business. You ll have real scope to make the role your own and grow with the company as it's a newly created position.

You ll be responsible for managing Fire & Security small works projects up to £10,000 in value. Anything larger will be passed to the Projects Team, meaning you can stay focused on fast paced, varied small works.
Based in a busy Southampton office, you ll coordinate engineers and subcontractors remotely, ensuring works are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

What We re Looking For:

• Strong Fire & Security technical background (small works, install & commissioning experience essential)
• Good industry knowledge across Fire and/or Security systems
• Organised, proactive, and confident communicator
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, office based environment
• Keen to step into a leadership style role (without needing prior management experience)
