Band 5/6 - Locum Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist - Hampshire

Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in Hampshire. Full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, with competitive hourly rate and opportunity to contribute to a busy laboratory service.

Hourly Rate: £25-27

You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms. You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory – minimum 2+ years
• Experience with automated chemistry analysers – Roche Cobas 6000/8000
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience (preferred)
