We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in Hampshire and work towards providing holistic, person centred, end of life care and support needs of people in their own homes.
Main duties of the jobYour responsibilities will include monitoring and assisting with the maintenance of patients' skin integrity and personal hygiene, observing and supporting nutritional needs, attending to comfort requirements to facilitate rest and sleep, providing mobility support, and maintaining a clean and orderly care environment.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will practice empathetic communication with the patient and those important to them in a supportive, professional manner and provide high quality personal care and support to enhance wellbeing.

We provide free specialist care and support to patients with terminal illnesses whilst offering vital emotional support for their families. It's all about giving themthe best possible quality of life. The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.
Wewant a different society than the one we live in now. Our mission for the nextfive years is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what theyneed at the end-of-life.
Job responsibilitiesContract: Permanent, available as full-time or reduced hours; multiple openings
Work Schedule: Day shifts:
Six hours,Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays
Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Based:Community Based - Hampshire
Whatwe are looking for:
- Recent experience providing care in a Health or Social Care Environment, including caring for patients atthe end of life.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent(preferred, not required).
- Be person-centred and compassionate when caring for the person and those important to them.
- Ability to develop and evaluate care management plans that meet the complex needs of the person, and those important to them.
- Emotional resilience and the capacity to work independently.
- Avalid driving license and access to a car for travel to patient homes are required.
