Key Account Manager, Oncology – Hampshire & Dorset
Novartis is seeking a Key Account Manager to promote and sell our Breast Cancer product line across Hampshire and Dorset. This secondary‑care sales role is responsible for meeting sales targets and advancing Novartis as a leader in breast‑cancer therapy.
LocationThis role covers the Hampshire and Dorset territory. The successful candidate must live in the territory, possess the right to work in the UK, and a full UK driving licence. Visa or relocation support is not available.
Responsibilities- Develop account plans for the product, customers, and identify new business opportunities.
- Build an understanding of customer organisations, networks, and the diverse influences affecting decisions.
- Support medical advocacy and key‑opinion‑leader plans through clinical networks and medical expert engagement.
- Ensure Novartis products and services are understood and available to patients and customers.
- Deploy and use marketing and sales promotional materials, coordinate direct promotion programmes and facilitate pull‑through activities.
- Present highly technical product portfolios to customer audiences.
- Develop deep specialist product and disease‑state knowledge and leverage it to build professional customer relationships and support clinical discussions.
- Integrate customer‑facing activities within cross‑functional teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, Market Access) to achieve sales targets.
- Champion new ways of working using AI‑based tools.
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally with specialist knowledge of Cancer.
- High self‑motivation with a strong drive to succeed.
- Experience and understanding of the UK healthcare system.
- Strong communication and selling skills.
- Customer‑ and patient‑centric approach.
- Collaborative and proven success with cross‑functional working.
- Existing network of contacts and relationships in the territory is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
