Caretaker – School Setting (Litchfield)

We are a reputable teaching agency currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Caretaker to join a welcoming and well-maintained school in Litchfield.

Key Requirements:

* Available to work full time

* Minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a caretaker in a school

* Previous caretaking experience is essential

* Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

* Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures

* Ability to carry out general maintenance, site security, cleaning, and minor repairs

* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

The Role Will Involve:

* Opening and closing the school premises

* Ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well maintained at all times

* Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs

* Monitoring health & safety compliance across the site

* Supporting staff with day-to-day site needs

* Maintaining outdoor areas and school grounds
