Allied Travel Careers  is partnering with Fusion Medical Staffing to place a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Hammonton, New Jersey, 08037.

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hammonton, New Jersey. The role involves delivering patient care, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, supported by a clinical team.

Required:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred:

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Physical Therapy experience; new grads are welcome
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of devices
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices
• Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home-based settings
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

• English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and PC skills
• Physical abilities: able to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push/pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate with a variety of personnel
• Technical/motor skills for procedures and equipment
• Mental requirements: ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle varying schedules
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
