Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed school psychologist to provide essential assessment and support services for K-8 students, including some pre-kindergarten students outside the district. This full-time, travel position involves working with students at multiple school locations in New Jersey, offering variety and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for approximately 12 students at one site and 20 students at another, plus a few additional pre-kindergarten students.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans and support strategies.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and district policies, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in meetings, provide consultative services, and assist in intervention planning.
- Travel between assigned school locations to deliver comprehensive psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current NJ license as a school psychologist.
- Experience working with K-8 and pre-kindergarten populations is preferred.
- Strong assessment, report‑writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain meticulous records.
- Availability for full‑time hours from 8:25 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.
