The Forklift operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Prior experience utilizing forklifts in a warehouse and/or production environment
• Certification Test Required

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Receiving/Putting Away:
  Unload inbound shipments safely, efficiently stack and store the merchandise
• Quality:
  Ensure that before loading/unloading inbound and outbound, shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Order Picking:
  Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Loading:
  Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
• Equipment:
  Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Inventory:
  Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical count of inventory, ensure proper stock rotation.
• Safety, Sanitation, Security:
  Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse, conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

MANUFACTURING ENVIROMENT

Applicants must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required. Safety, hygiene and cleanliness is strictly enforced. Applicants must be able to engage in periods of long standing and walking, and perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Compensation Range: $17.00 - $19.00 hourly, consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. ACR reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
