Quote, sell and service our insurance policies in our storefront in Hammond, LA.This is an in – person position, Monday through Friday 8:30 am CST – 5:00 pm CST and will be located at our storefront at Hammond, LA at 1320 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401.

* What You’ll Do:

** Our Sales Representatives quote, sell, and service our insurance policies. To do this, you will…
* Quote and sell insurance products to new and current customers.
* Advise customers on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to their needs, explaining coverages and payment options as needed.
* Take payments for insurance policies.
* Provide customer service to in an in-person environment, as well as over the phone.
* Services existing customer policies including policy changes when customer service is not available.
* Perform local marketing in and around the Lafayette area to increase business.
* Maintain the storefront, opening and closing location daily.
* Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty producer's license.
* Other duties as assigned.
** What it Takes:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
* 1 year of related work experience
* Bilingual in both Spanish and English is highly preferred
* Possess a thorough understanding of company guidelines with the ability to communicate guidelines to customers and employees.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft office applications.
* Organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy.
