Food Service Manager

Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Services Manager 1 for North Oaks Hospital located in Hammond, Louisiana
. North Oaks Health System is a 330-bed facility and is one of Louisiana’s largest and most progressive community hospital organizations, strategically based between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

• manage all daily food operations through hourly and supervisory frontline associates
• maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
• ensure trainings remain up to date for all hourly associates, for both Sodexo and hospital related trainings
• effectively mentor and develop the food services team
• implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services
• cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital

• strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment;
• experience leading and engaging a culinary and/or food services team
• Serv Safe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits
• familiarity with Sodexo processes and systems (preferred, not required)

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
