Dialysis Registered NurseWe are hiring a Dialysis Registered Nurse who will support patients with acute and chronic kidney failure. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the unit. You will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, family teaching, and community resource access.
May perform other related duties as assigned. ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurse roles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and supervise dialysis treatments for patients with kidney failure.
- Use the nursing process to provide individualized patient care.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families regarding post-hospitalization care.
- Access and utilize community resources for patient support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- RN license in the state of application.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification preferred initially; required within 90 days of employment.
- ACLS required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
- Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) certification preferred but not required.
