General Laborer - Day Shift

The General Laborers are responsible for the day-to-day safe operations throughout the plant. This position assists as assigned through the facility which includes but not limited to stacking off paper rolls, changing of the paper rolls, waste bailing, and any extra help needed around the facility.

This position is on the Day Shift
, which operates Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 4:30pm.

Compensation Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. ACR reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. • Follow all safety protocols.
• Moving and lifting heavy rolls of paper.
• Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
• Sort manufacturing materials or products.
• Load, unload, or stack off rolls.
• Monitor production machinery/equipment operation to detect problems.
• Clean work area during down time and end of shift.
• Constant standing, walking, and reaching at or below shoulder level.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Will train but prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Proficiency in communicating issues quickly
• Reliability in attendance and productivity
• Good Communication Skills in general

• Ability to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required
• Safety, hygiene and cleanliness is strictly enforced
