About the Role
We are looking for an IT Technician to support technical operations at our Hammond location. This role blends warehouse responsibilities with Level 1 help desk support, onsite technical work, and basic cabling.
Key Responsibilities- Handle shipping/receiving and assist with inventory management
- Provide Level 1 help desk support, including basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform onsite installs, troubleshooting, and general technical support
- Run and terminate network cabling (e.g., CAT6)
- Assist with various operational and technical tasks as assigned
- Travel occasionally for onsite work at other locations
- Experience or familiarity with Level 1 help desk support
- Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and troubleshooting
- Experience with cabling or willingness to learn
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel when required
