Full Time Vehicle Transporter - IL role at Vehi-Ship LLC.
Join us as a full-time vehicle transporter driving brand‑new Ford vehicles from the plant in Chicago, IL to rail yards.
Full‑time: 5 days a week with occasional weekend shifts based on production and volume of vehicles received. Start at 6 AM in Markham, IL. Shifts last between 10‑12 hours with no designated end time.
Driver Duties- Locate and inspect vehicles
- Document damages to vehicles
- Drive vehicles safely to rail yards
- Clean motor vehicle history
- Minimum age of 21
- Reliable transportation to and from Hammond each day
- Reliable and safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic
- Able to work and drive in all weather conditions
- Able to pass a background check
- No DUI’s or OWI’s
- No drug or alcohol convictions in the last 10 years
- Clean and valid driver’s license for the last 3 years
- Less than 3 points on MVR, no accidents, and no suspensions in the last 3 years
Shifts could last up to 12 hours.
