As a Field Services Driver / Operator, you are responsible for providing on‑site operations of equipment and transportation of wastes to disposal facilities in a safe and conscientious manner, generating value and satisfaction for internal and external customers.
Essential Functions & Requirements- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
- Prepare for daily trips by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling the truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order.
- Drive to customer service sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste to facilities for unloading and disposal.
- Complete manifests, company documentation, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed.
- Maintain a logbook for DOT compliance.
- Operate high‑velocity vacuum trucks and all attachments.
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1+ years of experience driving related equipment required for the role (required).
- Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, air brake endorsement and tanker endorsement (required).
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal and external customers.
- Understanding of RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to meet company driving qualifications with CDL.
- Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role.
