Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Physical Plant Services invites applications for the position of Plumber/Pipefitter. This position will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining plumbing systems across campus. Duties include installing or repairing equipment such as sinks, commodes, hot water tanks, sewers, gas lines and similar. Assembling and installing valves and pipe fittings using hand tools and power tools will be required.

It will be a priority to produce and maintain well-functioning plumbing infrastructure to insure a safe, clean and healthy environment that is welcoming to all that we serve.
Hourly Rate: $19.67

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 4:00 pm, 45-minute lunch and Friday 6:30 am - 11: 30 am

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of experience or training in pipe fitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.
