Quality Assurance Lead

The Quality Assurance Lead oversees daily quality and food safety operations within the meat processing facility. This role provides leadership to the QA team, ensures compliance with USDA‑FSIS and company requirements, and coordinates with production to resolve food safety and quality issues.

• The QA Lead is responsible for implementing and verifying HACCP, SSOP, and GMP programs, managing QA technicians, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ability to speak and write in English
• Communicate Quality standards and expectations with confidence and authority, ensuring clear, firm, and professional interactions with team members.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hammond, IN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $23.00/hr eligible benefits for this temporary role include Medical, dental & vision;
