EHC is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager for a client located in Charlotte, NC.
Job Summary:The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the warehouse equipment, staff, and processes. They manage the team, oversee scheduling, and supervise all day-to-day warehouse activities.
Qualifications:- Develop, implement, and manage daily warehouse schedules, working closely with sales
- Order and manage all warehouse supplies that are approved by the Branch Manager
- Develop and manage a preventive maintenance plan
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Quality Leadership to respond to and anticipate the rigorous and constantly changing demands of customers and evolving industry standards.
- Mentor, evaluate and further develop the talent and skill sets of existing warehouse associates
- Develop an in-house training program for both new hires and for existing team members
- Routinely evaluate warehouse operations for ways to continuously improve efficiencies, as volume increases, and scope of work shifts through the various business cycles
- Develop and manage an after-hours on-call system that will assist the sales department with reliable shipments to existing and potential customers
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- 3+ Years of Management Experience in a warehouse environment
- Strategic thinking, with a work history that has developed a sense of comfort and confidence in both making crucial decisions, as well as lending the ability to pivot when necessary to respond to unforeseen setbacks
- Expert shipping & receiving experience, with exceptional knowledge in the skills and techniques necessary to meet compliance standards
- An elevated level of attention to detail, with the intent of leading from the front and setting an exemplary example to the checking and rechecking of work for errors, or ways to improve existing procedures, results, and efficiencies
- Advanced written and spoken communication skills, with an ability to lead meetings, training sessions, and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
