Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd/3rd Shift

Pay: $25–$30/hr

Location: Hammond, IN 46327

Shift: 2nd or 3rd

Job Summary

We are seeking a 2nd/3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing team. This role is ideal for a reliable, motivated professional with strong troubleshooting skills who wants to continue developing their expertise while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with management on complex issues, providing solutions for system failures or inefficiencies.
  • Work with other technicians to complete projects and resolve maintenance challenges.
  • Participate in installation or improvement projects for existing or new equipment to enhance safety and operational performance.
  • Engage with floor managers and equipment operators to analyze equipment performance, isolate problems, and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements & Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, including servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
    .
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Understanding of BRM and CRM practices with the ability to build effective professional relationships.
  • Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, and control systems
    .
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain organizational standards
    .
  • Open to feedback and committed to relationship management.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative in approach.
