Shift Engineer

Location: Hammersmith

Shift Engineer - £55,000 – Hammersmith

I am currently looking to speak to Electrical & Mechanical Shift Engineers for a large site near Hammersmith.

The need is for an Electrical & Mechanical Shift Engineer to come and join a 4 person shift team, and continue to provide an efficient service of maintenance and building services.

As a Shift Engineer you will be required to work a 4on 4off shift pattern, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.

Day to Day Duties;

* PPM, reactive maintenance

* Working on Electrical, Mechanical and general building services

* Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner

* Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve

* Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported escalated as required.

* Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues

* Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client

* Remain flexible with regards to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency

* Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters

All plant will be monitored on a planned maintenance basis regularly as well as dealing with all reactive repairs that arise on a daily basis. All applicants must come form a strong maintenance background and have the ability to deal with a fast paced commercial environment.

The successful candidate must have;

* With at least 5 years experience in building services

* Core qualifications are key in this role the minimum requirement is Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Mechanical/Plumbing engineering.

* Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
