Operations Supervisor - Fairfield, OH (1st Shift 6:30 am to 3 pm)

SummarySupervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in a stockroom, warehouse, or yard. Main duties include:
- Review inbound appointment log and open order report to plan daily work activities.
- Schedule inbound and outbound operations to meet customer metrics.
- Determine staffing needs and assign workers to specific duties.
- Update operational procedures and ensure they are understood by warehouse associates.
- Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
- Work with Inventory Control to maximize inventory accuracy.
- Manage payroll for the department.
- Advise employees on handling items and equipment, addressing related problems.
- Trace item histories to resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
- Prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Enforce safety procedures.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
1st Shift: 6:30 am – 3 pm (full‑time, on‑site)
Supervisory Responsibilities- Directly supervise 20+ employees in Operations, following company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, and training of staff; plan, assign, and direct work.
- Appraise performance, reward, discipline, address complaints, and resolve problems.
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

$60k – $65k annually. The company may adjust this range based on market conditions and other factors; the final starting salary will be negotiated with the selected candidate in accordance with applicable laws.
