Store Associate

Overview

The Retail Store Associate plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. In a high‑impact, customer‑focused role, you will work independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

• Deliver differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Provide a warm, friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties (handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions) while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendor items, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments (photo, beauty, etc.) ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to support growth and career development opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remain upright on the feet for sustained periods of time.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently; a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but not required).

Part‑time

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $19.00 per hour (base hourly rate).
