As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you are not included on the posted weekly schedule and can pick up shifts via the myTime app. Attendance and responsiveness to contact attempts are essential.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption and guest loyalty.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Greet guests and engage with them to solve their needs while completing daily tasks.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed; be familiar with fulfillment services and how to enroll and use them.
• Demonstrate how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
• Process returns following policies and escalate to leaders as needed to resolve guest concerns.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policy.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely and report hazards; support cash office processes as needed.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and DU Returns while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Skills for success: effective communication, ability to stay focused under pressure, welcoming attitude, attention to detail, willingness to educate guests about products and services, ability to use handheld scanners and technology, and ability to work independently or in a team.

• Accurate cash handling and support for cash office operations as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
• Active engagement by picking up shifts; must work at least one shift within 5 months or be administratively terminated.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Mobility for the duration of scheduled shifts.
