Production Associate 1st Shift

Job Summary: To build quality Windows and Doors safely and within the timeframe specified by Management Guidelines.

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm (some lines 6:00am-4:30pm). Overtime as needed on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Operates various saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, end mills and cleans production area
• Assembles various vinyl parts.
• Hand wrap and operate mechanical stretch wrappers.
• May have to lift and carry windows weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
• Report and follow all the directions from Line Leader.
• Able to handle pressure, accurate and detail oriented.
• Must be willing to learn and operate multiple pieces of equipment and jobs throughout the plant.
• Must work well with other associates, and want to be a part of our team

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
• Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual production related tasks
• Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills

Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work while wearing personnel protective equipment
• Must be able to handle large pieces of glass
• Must be able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to operate saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills

• On the job training regarding the operating equipment, work processes, quality standards, and safety procedures related to the position.
