Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision components, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Hamilton, OH
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6 am - 4 pm, with overtime on Fridays
What's the Job?
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret calipers, micrometers, and CNC prints to ensure strict tolerances
- Complete quality documentation, including inspection reports and quality forms
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments to maintain machine efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and ISO standards
What's Needed?
- 1-5 years of experience operating CNC or similar precision machining equipment
- Proficiency in reading CNC prints and understanding tolerances down to .000
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with machine controls and basic troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred
