Swiss & Lathe Setup Operate 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a Swiss & Lathe Setup Operate 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Swiss & Lathe Setup Operate 2nd Shift, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Swiss & Lathe Setup Operate 2nd Shift

Location: Hamilton, OH

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4pm-2am

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate Swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines to produce high-quality components.
• Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform setup tasks including tooling changes and adjustments to meet specifications.
• Adhere to ISO requirements and observe all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and training of team members as needed.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1-year prior experience with Swiss or lathe machine setup and operation, or relevant education in Swiss/lathe machining.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine drawings.
• Strong physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, push, and lift over 30 pounds.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments safely and effectively.
