Screw Machine Operator

2nd Shift Opportunity!
Location: Hamilton, OH 45015
Pay Rate: $19 – $21/hr
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
Contract to Hire Opportunity!

This role is responsible for setting up and operating Acme and Davenport screw machines to produce precision components that meet quality and production standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work in a fast-paced environment.

• Set up and operate Acme and Davenport screw machines to manufacture parts to specification
• Load bar stock, replenish fluids, and remove metal chips during machine operation
• Perform tooling changes, tool sharpening, and machine adjustments to maintain quality
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed
• Support team members with machine setup and operational guidance
• Complete basic math calculations for measurements and machine adjustments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures

• Prior experience in machine operation, mechanical work, maintenance, automotive repair, or related trade training preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
