Job Title: Welder – 1st Shift
Location: Hamilton, OH 45015
Pay rate: $20.00 – $24.00/hr
Work schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm

Overview

This role supports manufacturing operations by performing high-quality structural steel welding for modular base frames and enclosure products. The Welder will work as part of a collaborative team, utilizing MIG and TIG welding techniques and metal cutting equipment to produce assemblies that meet blueprint specifications, safety requirements, and ISO
9001:2015 quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on steel and aluminum materials
  • Operate oxy-acetylene torches and plasma arc cutting equipment to cut steel of varying thicknesses
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions
  • Use metalworking tools including press brakes, drill presses, and shears
  • Verify completed work meets specifications and quality standards
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Accurately complete time reporting documentation
  • Lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Work up to 10-hour days and weekends as required
  • Pass a welding qualification test, background check, and drug screening
  • Supply personal welding gear (helmet, chipping hammers, etc.)
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
Qualifications
  • 1–5 years of structural steel welding experience
  • Experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with weld inspection and testing methods such as dye penetrant testing
  • Experience with framing and metalworking equipment
  • Proficiency with plasma arc cutting tools
  • AWS D1.1 welding certification preferred
