** Responsibilities for a Screw Machine Operator include but are not limited to:*
* ** Machine Operation:*
* Operate Acme and Davenport screw machines.

Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines.

** Machine Setup & Adjustments:*
* Perform machine setup including tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments.

Ensure machines continue to conform to quality and production specifications.

** Quality & Troubleshooting:*
* Maintain conformance with quality standards.

Assist other operators with troubleshooting, tool changes, and maintenance activities.

** Training & Team Support:*
* Assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.

Support team goals and continuous improvement efforts.

** Workplace

Conditions:

*
* 100% onsite manufacturing environment.

Onsite interview and plant tour required.

** Safety Equipment

Required:

*
* Must follow all safety protocols.

Safety shoes and safety glasses required.

* Physical Requirements:

* Standing for extended periods.

Working with machinery, tools, and metal components.

** Candidate Requirements:*
* Relevant work experience in manufacturing, maintenance, mechanic, automotive or diesel mechanic background, or trade school completion.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and machinery.

Ability to perform standard math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Reasoning ability to troubleshoot and overcome obstacles.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
