- Ensure seamless daily dispensing of sterile compounded medications using Omnicell's advanced automated IV equipment.
- Perform equipment management, maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Manage material movement and maintain optimal medication inventory levels.
- Review and update documentation diligently.
- Communicate effectively with customers to build strong relationships.
- Perform IV automation tasks aseptically and error‑free, following standard operating procedures.
- Clean and maintain IV automation equipment daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Follow safe handling procedures for hazardous drugs.
- Identify and order medications to keep inventories at optimal levels.
- Monitor and order consumable supplies required for equipment operation.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of IV automation equipment; report unresolved issues to the IV Technical Assistance Center.
- Complete fingertip and media fill sampling.
- Maintain high communication levels with pharmacy operations manager and customers to proactively identify and resolve problems.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning the Pharmacy Services Program with customer‑focused support, emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.
- Conduct training and confirm completion of all required documents and compliance with Pharmacy Services procedures and policies.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility for work‑related expenses, complete expense reports, and adhere to company travel policies.
- Comply with reasonable procedures, policies, and guidelines established by the customer facility.
- Maintain national certification and all state‑required credentialing.
- Serve as a resource or SME, providing training and assistance to Omnicell team members on‑site or remotely.
- Strong organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work with mechanical equipment.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self‑starter capable of working independently and following detailed plans.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active Ohio State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration.
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB / CPhT / EXCPT).
- Working knowledge of IV compounding.
- One year of IV compounding experience.
- Proficient in the use of PPE and hand hygiene techniques.
- Working knowledge of sterile environment requirements.
- Completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Two years’ previous experience in hospital pharmacy automation.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with automation devices.
- Automation implementation experience.
- Ability to travel out of state for training.
- Commute daily to 10500 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242.
- Ability to work 2nd shift (M‑TH 1:30 pm‑12 am / M‑F 2:30 pm‑11 pm) with shift differential policy.
- Open to relocating within 45 miles to the client’s site.
- 8‑to‑10‑hour shifts.
- Hospital pharmacy environment; hours may extend beyond normal business hours.
- Capable of standing for several hours at a time; potential exposure to hazardous drugs.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Selected candidates may be required to pass a math aptitude test.
