Why We'll Love You
  • You hold a current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio.
  • You are a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • You have at least five years of nursing experience, including leadership as a supervisor or instructor.
  • You bring knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to long‑term care.
  • You demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
  • You are passionate about mentoring teams and fostering a positive, accountable, and caring culture.
  • You have excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems (Point Click Care , EPIC, or similar) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Directing, planning and coordinating the activities concerned with the provision of health for the residents residing at the community. Facilitates nursing best practices operations related to people, process, systems to enhance or improve the care of residents.
  • Responsible for ensuring our residents, clients, and family members receive responsive, compassionate, and customer‑oriented care and service. Proactively works to resolve client satisfaction issues and escalates areas of concern appropriately.
  • Responsible for supervision of nursing staff including but not limited to RNs, LPNs, MDS Nurses, STNAs, Resident Assistants, Caregivers, Schedulers, and Unit Clerks. Coordinates the scheduling of staff to maintain the standards outlined by administration and appropriate licensing agencies. Responsible for the selection, hiring, training, engagement, and development of nursing staff. Delegates to professional nursing personnel, the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.
  • Coordinates resident care with other Departments, including Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance Services, to ensure the continuity of care.
