IT End User Support Associate About the RoleConduent is seeking an IT End User Support Associate to work on site in Hamilton, NJ. 6 Month Full-time Temporary Opportunity. 40 hours work week. Monday– Friday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities- Provides end-user technical support including, but not limited to, performing hardware/software installations, and resolving day-to-day system problems for Conduent NJSDU onsite and remote staff
- Deploy / Support New Desktop Computers running Windows 11 operating System.
- Assist Remote and Onsite Staff with System issues.
- Work closely with Trainers during onsite and remote New Hire setup and orientation
- Works on assignments and performs a full range of basic and/or routine and primary repetitive technical support activities.
- Performs as a member of a quick-response user-support team and generally works under deadlines
- Operates independently to resolve routine end-user problems, but with immediate supervision on more complex issues or assignments
- Maintain Computer and Hardware Inventory
- Considerable end-user interface by Microsoft Teams and/or in person
- 1 to 2 years of related Desktop / User support experience
- Knowledge of computing processes and technology including Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating Systems, Knowledge of voice telephony, and call center technology recommended but not required
- Computer Literacy and ability to communicate effectively via email, in person, or on the phone to staff
- Excellent customer service orientation and appreciation of role as Conduent representative
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and/or diagnose user needs and elevate problems without delay to appropriate levels for resolution
- Considerable end-user interface by phone and/or in-person necessitates good (clear) verbal communication skills and credible customer presence
- Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines
- Commitment to quality and personal ethics
- Ability to work independently, but as a part of team concept
