Note This is a hybrid role – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote. Onsite days are currently Monday and Tuesday but this can change.

Overview

We are seeking a polished, well‑spoken Business Analyst who can own requirements gathering, write user stories/documentation, and conduct meticulous testing prior to deployments. The candidate should be comfortable with tools like Visio/Adobe XD to align with business and developer stakeholders’ specifications.

Responsibilities

The BA will be responsible for the development and documentation of business requirements, create User Interface mockups, assist the technical teams in the development and documentation of technical requirements, test the resultant software (including user Acceptance Testing), create instruction manuals and teach the system to end users. The BA may also be called upon to perform limited project management functions.

Skills Required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Visio
  • Experience with developing systems via a structured SDLC methodology
  • Experience with testing, training
  • Experience with UI design
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and work flows, and propose areas for improvement
  • Ability to gather data via diverse means (i.e. interviews, observation, surveys, existing written documentation) and interpret relevant information
  • Ability to document storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules
  • Customer Service / Helpdesk experience
Qualifications

4-year college degree
