Our client is a Heavyside and Lightside builders’ merchant serving Trade and Public customers in central Scotland via its network of 4 branches, established in 1997.

A well established and long-standing business with many opportunities for progression, promotion as well as transfers to different departments/branches when opportunities arise.

A position has become available to work in their Larkhall warehouse/yard.

Working hours are Fixed hours of Monday – Friday, 07.30am-4.30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am-1pm.

• Assess each customers’ needs ensuring that they have the correct materials for their order
• Adhere to all company procedures and policies on customer satisfaction & health and safety
• Loading customer vehicles
• Serving customers
• Stock checking
• Loading and unloading company vehicles
• Loading and unloading supplier vehicles
• Replenishing stock and housekeeping

• The successful candidate will have a pleasant manner when dealing with customers and colleagues and will be a good team member within our busy environment.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• There is physical manual handling required in this position.

• Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential.
