Job Overview

Our clients are looking for motivated trainees to join a long-term training programme in hard metal roofing and cladding, working across sites throughout the Central Belt of Scotland.

This is a hands‑on, site‑based role with clear progression from learning the basics in Year 1 through to becoming a fully capable installer and future squad leader. Training is practical and structured, with progression based on skill development, reliability, and overall performance rather than time served.

Benefits include:

  • 28 days paid holiday per year (including public holidays)
  • PPE provided
  • Company pension scheme
  • Structured training and clear progression
  • Long‑term career opportunities within the business

Successful trainees will progress into fully qualified Hard Metal Installers, with opportunities to lead their own squad and, subject to performance, move onto price work.

This role is aimed at individuals looking to build a proper trade and long‑term career in construction.
