Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Overview
South Lanarkshire Council requires an experienced Electrician to support the delivery of electrical works within Building Services. You will have a flexible approach to managing varied workloads and will be required to carry out all associated electrical works including new build, refurbishment, maintenance and a Testing and Inspection programme.
Responsibilities- Carry out electrical works including new build, refurbishment, maintenance and a Testing and Inspection programme.
- Demonstrate sound practical technical competencies in managing and delivering jobs with trade qualifications SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
- Display experience within either commercial or domestic properties within the construction industry.
- Carry out Testing and Inspection to current regulations with suitable qualifications.
- Demonstrate commitment to customer care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work to targets and predetermined timescales with awareness of health and safety.
- Be able to travel throughout South Lanarkshire.
- Time-served with trade qualifications within relevant discipline SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
- Experience in commercial or domestic properties in construction.
- Capacity to perform Testing and Inspection to current regulations with suitable qualifications.

Work Pattern:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm
Salary: £38,506 - £39,606 per year
