H&T - G2 Electrician; Voids

Overview

South Lanarkshire Council requires an experienced Electrician to support the delivery of electrical works within Building Services. You will have a flexible approach to managing varied workloads and will be required to carry out all associated electrical works including new build, refurbishment, maintenance and a Testing and Inspection programme.

• Carry out electrical works including new build, refurbishment, maintenance and a Testing and Inspection programme.
• Demonstrate sound practical technical competencies in managing and delivering jobs with trade qualifications SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
• Display experience within either commercial or domestic properties within the construction industry.
• Carry out Testing and Inspection to current regulations with suitable qualifications.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work to targets and predetermined timescales with awareness of health and safety.
• Be able to travel throughout South Lanarkshire.

• Time-served with trade qualifications within relevant discipline SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
• Experience in commercial or domestic properties in construction.
• Capacity to perform Testing and Inspection to current regulations with suitable qualifications.

Hours:

37 hours per week, permanent

Work Pattern:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm

Salary: £38,506 - £39,606 per year
