We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the Finsbury Food Group Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave, with a planned start date in mid-February 2026.

As a Marketing Manager, you will drive group brand positioning, marketing and commercial communications, and cross-functional collaboration to maximise business impact. You will play a key role in developing a rolling communications plan, influencing leadership decisions, managing budgets, and mentoring the marketing team to deliver high-quality campaigns and initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and own the overall marketing strategy, ensuring it aligns with wider business objectives.
- Lead the creation of annual marketing plans and campaigns, enhancing the yearly campaign planner through integrated marketing communications and tactics across online and offline channels.
- Provide strategic input to the executive team on market positioning, growth opportunities, and competitor insights, while identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and customer insights to drive innovation.
- Oversee the execution of key marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all internal and external platforms.
- Develop and implement an integrated communications and branding strategy for internal and external audiences, overseeing brand strategy and corporate messaging to ensure consistency across channels.
- Manage corporate reputation and align internal and external communications; act as a key spokesperson for the business when required at industry events.
- Coordinate group-wide campaigns across multiple platforms and stakeholders; lead end-to-end planning and delivery of national and international trade shows to maximise brand visibility and ROI.
- Manage budgets, suppliers, contracts, and logistics to deliver seamless communications.
- Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to drive demand generation and customer engagement; ensure cohesive brand representation across marketing, sales, product, and design.
- Work with finance to manage budgets, measure ROI, and support forecasting; align with procurement on supplier partnerships; collaborate with IT and data teams to leverage technology, automation, and analytics.
- Work with NPD and innovation teams to showcase pipelines and consumer trends; partner with People Team to develop and implement employer branding and internal communications.
- Source and manage external agency partnerships to support delivery and budget efficiency.
- Drive digital growth and transformation across the marketing function, leading SEO, paid media, content, and social strategies; optimise the end-to-end customer journey across multiple channels; monitor performance metrics to refine strategies.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the business, presenting insights and strategic recommendations to the board and executive team; build relationships with industry bodies, media, and external partners to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team to deliver high-quality campaigns and initiatives.
